Student Wellness Center
The Wellness Center is located on 7th Street across from the Events Center
The Student Wellness Center (sometimes referred to as the Student Health Center) offers a variety of medical care to students enrolled at SJSU. In addition to treating acute conditions, injuries, and illnesses, the Wellness Center promotes health programs, maintains an in-house licensed pharmacy, and has a physical therapy department, among others.
Health Awareness
SJSU strives to improve the quality of life for their students. The campus offers informational resources about nutrition, alcohol, drugs, and sex.
There are massage chairs open to students located inside the Wellness Lounge. Please call the Wellness Center to schedule an appointment. Students can use schedule up to 6 sessions per semester.
Wellness PromotionPharmacy
Perscription medication may be purchased at the Wellness Center. Perscriptions from outside physicians can also be filled if the medication is stocked by the pharmacy. Students may also take prescriptions written by SWC clinicians to outside pharmacies for filling if desired.

Payment of the Mandatory Health Fee (MHF) allows students ulimited primary care visist at no additional cost.*
Additionally, the SWC offers reproductive healthcare services (FamilyPACT), transgender services, and services aimed at promoting Women's health.
Peer Conncetions
Peer Connections offers free services to undergraduate all SJSU students. The center offers mentoring services, tutoring services, and workshops aimed at improving a student's academic success.

MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center
Found on the 1st floor of the Student Union East Wing, the MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center is a place that offers support and knowledge to underrepresented groups. In short, the MosaicCCC is a safe place that supports/promotes diversity and social justice.
There are workshops and events aimed at supporting students, a quiet medication room (scheduled in 15-minute intervals), and a positive staff always willing to help.
The Writing Center
The SJSU Writing Center offers a variety of resources to help students become better writers, and all of our services are free for SJSU students. It's difficult enough being a college student, so why let a writing assignment add to your stress? We'll be your guides through the often bewildering world of words, and you'll emerge with the communication skills necessary to your success as a student.
The Writing Center holds one-hour long workshops that focus on specific writing topics. To schedule and register for a workshop, follow the link below.
Software Downloads
SJSU offers free access to certain software programs for students and faculty. Through the Information Technology Services (ITS), download links to programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia are available.

Services at the Library
These are various resources located in and around the library.
Study Rooms
Scattered throughout the Library are 39 private study rooms to reserve. Each room can hold up to 12 people. The rooms are in high demand and can only be reserved in blocks of single hours.
Reserve a Study RoomTechnology Renting
Students can rent laptops (Mac OS and Windows OS), iPads, Cables/Adapters/Chargers, Accessories, and other technology-related items from the Student Computing Services on the 4th floor.
Student Computing Services3D Printer
There is a 3D Printer located on the 4th floor in the Student Computing Services department. Because of the number of uses, you need to schedule an appointment to use the machine.
Access to Multiple Databases
Through the MLK website, enrolled students can access different databases for free. You will need to log in with your SJSU ID before granted access. If you are unable to find a specific journal online, visit a librarian at the help desk for assistance.

Tired of not being able to use your library card? Eliminate your fines by colunteering at the MLK Library! Fines will be cleared from your account at a rate of $20 per hour.
