SJPL Works: Career & Business

San Jose Public Library (SJPL) Works unites the expertise of the area's top leaders in economic and workforce development to create an extensive network of resources for employment seekers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. The business center features collaborative workspaces with technology and productive tools, meeting spaces with videoconferencing, specialized collections and classes, and much more.

SJPL Works periodically offers events focused on resume development, job search assistance, and even hosts drop-in interviews.

SJPL Works: Career & Business is located on the - 3rd Floor - of the MLK Library.


PATH (People Assisting the Homeless)

The MLK Library has partnered with PATH to provide outreach and social work services for the downtown San Jose community. PATH workers connect individuals and families to services they need to help them find permanent housing. Services are free and individuals interested in reciving homeless resources and referrals are invited to visit.

You can call or text PATH San Jose @ 408-753-8735. Drop-in sessions are also avaliableon the third floor of the MLK Library - Room 324 - on Wensdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
